The Group

Working as a trans or non-binary therapist in the world right now can feel isolating and challenging. This group is designed to provide both clinical support and personal support. The group is trans-centered, anti-racist, and sex-positive.

This group is for all clinicians who identify as trans or non-binary. It's designed to provide a combination of personal and clinical support with a focus on de-pathologizing the people we work with and centering queer and trans lived experience.

If you have questions about whether this is the right group for you, send me an email and we can talk more about it.

About Me

I am a white, queer, and trans therapist who has been in practice for more than ten years. I transitioned during graduate school and have worked in both agency setting and private practice. I live and work on the land sof the Lenni Lenape people and am rooted in a social justice frame. I work from a social justice frame and am influenced by transfeminist, relational intersectional, narrative, IFS, harm reduction, and trauma-informed approaches.

I am also a co-author of the book Sex Therapy with Erotically Marginalized Clients: Nine Principles of Clinical Support and a co-trainer with the post graduate certificate training Affirming Therapy with Transgender Communities offered through Widener University. I believe that the work that we do is sacred and  I strive to create a space of curiosity, support, renewal, and healing that honors the diverse experiences of trans and non-binary mental health clinicians.
